Aimed at capturing a new generation of modern travellers, the Central hotel has a distinctly youthful and playful style.
Over 22 storeys, it houses 55 rooms, as well as a bar, Mexican restaurant, co-working space and contemporary gym. The construction was carried out in phases, limiting closure of the existing hotel, with most of the built-in furniture being produced off-site to speed up construction.
The design process was two months and the construction three months; an extremely rapid turnaround schedule for a project of this size. The project is now open and operating on Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong.
